The developer of both “The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing” titles, NeocoreGames, has announced that its games will arrive on Linux, although not both at the same time.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is an action hack and slash RPG that's built on the Diablo formula, but this is where all the similarities end. The first game in the series was released last year in May, but there was no official information about the studio's intention to also launch a Linux version.

A fan of the games asked the developers from NeocoreGames on the Steam forums whether they were looking at Linux as a viable platform, and they responded very quickly, confirming that both of the games in the series will be available on Steam for Linux.

“It is in our plans! However, it will be Van Helsing I that will be released for Linux at first. Then comes the second game!,” said Csikós Mátyás, a NeocoreGames representative.

The first Van Helsing game in the series already has three DLCs under its belt, and the second one was just released yesterday. You can check the review for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II on Softpedia to get an idea of what to expect.
