Neocore Games has announced that they'll take their time to polish the upcoming action role-playing game The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2, pushing back its release by a month.

The second installment in the action series will keep the same humorous approach that its predecessor set, while adding a huge amount of new content, such as five more times as many skills to suit the two new classes that players will be able to make use of, as well as a more complex story system and heaps of new items and monsters.

Pre-orders are open on the Neocore Games website, offering many other options aside from just the regular game, such as legendary minipets, helmet skins, having your name show up in the credits or even having your face show up in the game, as a member of the Borgovian Resistance.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2 will be released on Steam on May 22, retaining its original price tag of just a measly $15 / €11. The original game was also released on May 22, 2013, and it might just be more than a mere coincidence. Should we expect the third iteration in the series at the same time next year?
