If there’s one man who can play a cold-hearted serial killer / psychopath / devoted family man, that’s Michael Shannon. Above is the first trailer for his latest film, the star-studded “The Iceman.”

*Please note that discretion is recommended when viewing it because it contains profane language and images of excessive violence.

What’s even more amazing about “The Iceman,” which comes from director Ariel Vromen, is that it also boasts an amazing supporting cast, including James Franco, Chris Evans, Ray Liotta, Winona Ryder, David Schwimmer, and Stephen Dorff.

Shannon plays real-life mob hitman Richard Kuklinski, who killed an estimated 100 men during his entire “career.”

“The Iceman” doesn’t have a US release date yet, but it’s already opened at the Venice Film Festival, now well underway.
