14 DAY TRIAL // The common theme in the newly released character posters from the latest “Hunger Games” film is District 13. Those who’ve read the books or have seen the previous movies know that this is where the rebellion begins and this has a lot of meaning for the upcoming film.
All of the character posters are highlighting the D13 logo and the mockingjay logo, thus indicating the rebellion that's about to take place in this next film. One of the posters features the character Alma Coin, the president of District 13, who is the leader of the rebellion.
The other posters feature other important characters from the film, such as Plutarch Heavensbee, Effie Trinket, Finnick Odair, Haymitch Abernathy and Beetee Latier, all of whom join the rebellion.
All of the characters and indeed the entire poster collection are mainly in grey, reminiscent of a prison. The people are wearing grey clothes and the walls are grey, made of dull cement, just like the ones they have in prisons.
The third movie in the franchise is set to hit theaters on November 21. Get ready to meet up with your favorite characters Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthrone, played by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, respectively.
