Writer-director Tom Six is returning to the big screen (but only in select theaters) with the final installment in his horror trilogy “The Human Centipede” in May this year. An official synopsis for the film has been obtained by EW, and it promises an even more gruesome movie than you could have imagined.

If you’re new to the horror genre, this isn’t a movie that you’d ever want to see. The first “Centipede” installment came out in 2009 and saw the “creation” of a human centipede by stitching 3 people mouth to anus, thus creating a single digestive track.

In the second film, the number was boosted to 12, and the sheer horror of the scenes was augmented many-fold.

Six will go out with a bang with the final film, officially called “Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence),” which he promises will be “XXXXL American style!” There will be a Hollywood budget and Hollywood effects, and they even have a Hollywood name in Eric Roberts, who is a newbie to the franchise.

According to the synopsis, by the end of the movie, we will see a 500-person prison centipede, as prison warden Bill Boss (Dieter Laser) comes up with the perfect solution to cut living expenses for his overcrowded prison, while also delivering what he considers the perfect punishment to all the inmates.

If your stomach can take it, the third movie drops on May 22.
