14 DAY TRIAL // The video leaked earlier this week showing Beyonce's sister Solange lashing out violently at her husband Jay Z, opened up a great big can of worms for everyone involved. Solange was put under the magnifying glass and deemed unstable mentally due to her drug issues and Beyonce and Jay Z's marriage is now widely considered to be on the rocks.
Radar claims that the “crazy in love” image they've been trying to promote, the “Bonnie & Clyde” of hip-hop personas are all just acts and that there's some serious trouble in their marriage which regularly causes fights, mostly due to cheating rumors but also because of Jay's commanding attitude towards his wife.
Several other publications have upheld this theory and there are reports from eyewitness on several occasions that Jay is indeed bossing Beyonce around, controlling her career. An NFL employee went out on the record under the cover of anonymity to reveal that Jay was “barking instructions” at Beyonce backstage prior to her Super Bowl performance.
“He became angry that she wasn’t giving him her full attention, and he grabbed the mobile device out of her hands.” the source claims. “He discovered that she was texting another man and started going through all her texts. His voice started out low, and he was swearing.”
The problem was that their team seemed to be very much used to this type of scene and no one batted an eyelid. A couple of months later, the couple got again into a scuffle at Diddy's VMAs afterparty, last August. At the time, there were bottles flying around, as well as derogatory terms.
Apart from the violent scandals, there are also rumors of cheating surrounding the couple. In public, they might seem all loved up and tender after all their married years, but behind closed doors there is said to be much resentment.
Most of them are directed at Jay Z, who has been linked with Belgian beauty queen Claudia Scheelen and singer Rita Ora, both of whom denied any implication out of respect for Beyonce.
Now we can't prove for sure that all of the rumors are true, but one thing does look to be certain: the fact that the image of the perfect marriage between Beyonce and Jay Z is beginning to show more and more cracks.
With this latest scandal, which is irrefutable proof that something is wrong, the truth is bound to pop up much sooner than anticipated and we'll see whether this was all just a clever ruse to get them to sell more albums, or this is indeed the happiest marriage in the music industry like they would like us to believe.
