Remember Hulk Hogan? Last time we heard of him, we were wondering if his divorce was for real or a cleverly planned hoax in order to avoid having to pay up in the trial brought against him by the parents of the guy Nick Hogan almost killed. Well, John Graziano is not theoretically dead, but a vegetative state is not something you wake up from and start waltzing a week later. The poor boy is brain dead, and the Hogans were - and still are - living in fear of a legal battle that could cost them dearly - and I mean that the literal way. However, it seems that either he's a better actor than we imagined, or the "fake divorce" theory is not as solid as we may have thought.
Turns out, Hulk hope himself and his wife Linda - who, I remind you, is the one who filed for divorce and called the marriage (which lasted for 24 years) "irretrievably broken" - will want to work things out. I know that this means basically nothing - if it's all a fake, it only serves to make the lie more believable - but I think that part of me wants to believe it's all real and that maybe these two can find a way to work things out.
"I'm leaning into the wind. I'm trying to stay very, very positive. I just pray that things get better for my family. And all the mentality going on as far as my divorce goes? You know, I love my family and I love my wife to death and I just don't know what tomorrow's going to bring. I'm just trying to stay positive and stay focused and stay busy. There's always a chance of reconciliation. You can never say never" Hulk stated. Well, if he's honest about that, then I keep my fingers crossed for him.
I was actually wondering - thinking back on the whole "reality TV curse" clich and on whether it's a valid theory or useless speculation. And what I realized was that in the end, it's less about what someone really feels and more about what the public thinks someone is feeling. And unfortunately, the gap between the two seems to be causing more trouble than personal grudges. At least for now.
