The faded 'Baywatch' star is either trying too hard to shine out in public, or he is just simply delusional, various media outlets say. This comes after Hasselhoff, also known as The Hoff or the Hoffmaister, said at the launch of his brand new autobiography, called 'Making Waves', that late Princess Diana wanted to go to bed with him.
The statement is more than likely to create exactly what the actor is looking for, namely, waves. Of course, nobody can confirm that his allegations are true, but he seems to believe that his words are more than enough to make his story plausible.
The Hoff said that, when he and the Princess met in 1993, she was so 'smitten' with him that she would have been more than willing to bed him. Lucky for her (and the Royal Family) that he is enough of a gentleman as to refuse the advances of a married woman.
When the two were formally introduced, Princess Diana supposedly said to him: 'You look much better with your clothes on', to which the actor replied 'Well, Ma'am, so do you' (was he supposed to know how she looked otherwise?, one might ask).
'She was smitten with me since I was so tall. I was smitten with her since she was so tall. But she was married and so was I. I probably would have gone after her if circumstances had been different. In the end, I just wanted to be a friend and hang out with her', the smiling Hasselhoff told an amazed crowd at the 'book' launch.
And the confessions go on and on, although none are as outrageous as the one regarding Princess Diana. Hasselhoff, known for his alcohol abuse and his temperamental behavior towards women, and especially towards his own wife, also said that Sir Elton John had the hots for him. Well, what more can one say, everybody wants a piece of The Hoff...
