Fake Youtube page offers The Hobbit Enlarge picture - Fake Youtube page offers The Hobbit
The trailer for The Hobbit was released only a few days ago and cybervillains already began using it to spread their malicious schemes.

Experts from GFI came across a phony YouTube page that claims users can watch the entire motion picture if they complete a survey.

If you’re not content with only seeing a movie that’s far from being launched, you are also offered car insurance and different amounts of money in return for a few clicks.

While these rogue surveys usually don’t spread any malware, they ask for tons of sensitive information and try to dupe unsuspecting individuals to sign up for monthly fees for some dubious services.

I advise you to stay away from these phony websites and if you want to see the movie, wait until it’s released. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer.
