The History Lesson: Watch Bill Gates Presenting Windows 3.1

We’re getting closer to the official Windows 8 debut and Steve Ballmer is probably working on his speech more than ever. Windows 8 is regarded as one of the most important products in Microsoft’s history, so everything has to be perfect.

You probably remember Ballmer coming on stage and screaming his lungs out that Microsoft is the best company on the globe… Well, there was a time when Bill Gates calmly stepped in front of the camera and proudly presented his company’s latest product.

It was Windows 3.1 and Gates revealed, with a smile on his face, that more and more companies are developing Windows applications. The same happens today, as more developers optimize their software to run on Windows 8.

In the meantime, let’s have a look at Bill Gates and imagine Steve Ballmer introducing Windows 8. Who wants to bet he'd go bananas again?
