The History Channel: Civil War - A Nation Divided is a first person shooter (FPS) game released on the 7th of November 2006 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PC systems. The game was developed by Cauldron HQ and published by Activision. It allows you to play either for the Confederacy or for the Union, one of the twelve most well known fights of the Civil War.

The History Channel: Civil War - A Nation Divided, just like all the games in the series, has been criticized for its poor quality, short gameplay experience and strange story line which put the player into the shoes of a different soldier for each mission. It has also a lot of bugs, especially the Xbox 360 version which has no Save button in the Pause menu and, even though no DLC has been ever released, the option appears in the game menu.
