OCZ Technology Group announced the release of a brand new processor cooling solution, the OCZ Vanquisher CPU cooler which is intended to be used in conjunction with today's high end computing solutions. The much awaited continuation of the Vindicator processor cooler, the Vanquisher is made using a compact yet highly efficient design which makes it an enthusiast-grade thermal solution for the latest high performance processors.

Thanks to its pure copper base and three heat pipes
made of copper too, the OCZ Vanquisher is able to aggressively cool any modern-day central processing unit as alongside with its copper base and heat pipes, a great number of aluminum made fins together with a variable speed 92mm fan pulls away all the heat generated by the processor. Because of its efficient design and high quality materials the Vanquisher is able to dissipate as much as 200 watts worth of CPU generated heat while at the same time maintaining the noise and vibration levels at a very low mark thanks to its rubber coated connectors and variable fan speed. "The performance of OCZ Vanquisher is not compromised due to its compact size," states Jacky Huang, vice president of Product Management, OCZ Technology, who was cited in the company's press release concerning the launch of the Vanquisher. "Instead, it reduces the CPU temperature more effectively than many larger coolers in the market. As a bonus, its compact form factor allows it to fit in even most crowded environments and cases."

Because of its small and compact design and superior cooling capabilities, the OCZ Vanquisher is compatible with all modern-day processors, being able to fit in AMD's 754, 939 and AM2 sockets as well in Intel's 775 socket. As the OCZ CPU cooler is a lightweight product, no motherboard back plate is required for installation, so it is the perfect choice for all "do it yourself" types. Coming with a variable fan which can go as low as 800rpm or as high as 2000rpm and which has a ceramic high life ball bearing system, the Vanquisher offers both a good cooling experience for your processor while maintaining a very low noise level.
