A new trailer for what is one of the most anticipated movies of 2013, “The Great Gatsby,” has just premiered online. You can see it in full and in HD above.

It brings fresh footage and a bit of voiceover from the man himself, Jay Gatsby.

Directed by Baz Lurhmann and starring some of the most instantly recognized faces in the industry (here’s looking at you Mr. DiCaprio and Miss Mulligan), the film promises to be a visual spectacle in the truest sense of the word.

The fact that it will also be 3D only adds to that promise.

Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1924 novel, the film will most certainly play out like the “ultimate American tale.”

Besides Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, “The Great Gatsby” also stars Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Elizabeth Debicki, and will be out in May 2013. It was initially scheduled for release this month but got pushed back.
