The Getaway Hints VIII (PS2)

The Getaway is a video game that was developed by Team SOHO and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd.

The game was launched exclusively on the PlayStation 2 home gaming console from Sony.

It was released during the month of December 2002.

The game can be classed as an action title that is played from a third person perspective and includes elements from genres like shooter and racing.

GAMEPLAY HINTS

Floating and invisible people

Drive down any street in free roam mode. Look up at the sky a little closer, and you will see people walking in mid-air while you are in your vehicle. While driving on the sidewalk, in some places you might see a person just appear when you hit them, who was not there before.

Look up when you out and in a vehicle. You will see floating people moving very quickly.

Instant death

Walk down any street that has cars. Do not go in front of the car, but go to the side of it. When the car is almost by you, press Circle. Your character will automatically fall over and die.

Fireproof drivers

In free-aim mode, shoot the hood of a car to catch it on fire from a long distance. When it catches fire, wait until it dies out. Wait until the black smoke floats out then go next to the car. The car will be totally burned, but the driver is not. The driver will continue driving on invisible tires. However if you get in the car, you will be riding on rims with sparks.

Sink through ground

When at the tank location, make a right. Keep driving straight until you reach some water. Turn left down the first alley with a black post. Then make a right turn, then a left turn. Keep driving until you see an overpass. Get on the left sidewalk and drive towards the wanted sign. You should sink into the sidewalk.
