The Internet is the perfect medium

Porn is the dominant industry that has ever prospered and which received an unexpected boom when the Internet came to be the interconnecting web it is. Pornography represents, according to some analysts, up to 80 or 85 of the content on the Internet and such a heritage bar is pretty high to reach for new sites or producing companies unless they work hard at it. No innuendo there.

The only problem is that the audience of such sites grows bored of the fakery that is available online. As Regina Lynn of Wired said, the fake scenarios, fake chemistry, fake body parts and fake orgasms are already too deep inserted in the porn monolith to be extracted and left hanging, but there's a way to work around them that's proven to be a winner for some of the sites out there.

The feeling of 'natural' is what draws huge flocks of audience to these sites, creating a niche ever growing and more profitable than ever. Abbywinters is an Australian site that features 'amateurs' and the way they work totally changes the feel of porn that all the other similar websites have. There's still a director and a scenario, but they don't interfere with the process, they let the actresses build the momentum and the techniques they decide to use, just to capture that 'natural' impression.

To be honest, a "Friends" episode that was based around Joey and Chandler having free porn on TV underlines exactly what's wrong with the industry as a whole nowadays. They wondered why, after watching the shows for a couple days, a cute girl would not just come up to them, kiss them and invite them to her place, for an unforgettable night.

I mean, yeah, it wouldn't hurt for that to happen once in a while, but expecting it based on whatever movie you caught a glimpse of is just wrong. That's why the future of porn, in an incredibly strange way of saying this, is sex. Not acrobatic performances, but real situations.
