Each fruit has its own branch and develops quite harmoniously

Since green-living is also about eating one's fruits and veggies, it seemed right to draw your attention to the fact that, thanks to a so-called fruit salad tree, one can easily get his/her daily dose of vitamins without having to go to extreme lengths (such as visiting the local market for 10-15 minutes).

The people who developed these peculiar trees claim that they can accommodate up to six different types of fruits, provided that they all belong to the same family.

In other words, one can grow peaches together with plums, nectarines, apricots and peachcots, while oranges can develop quite nicely alongside lemons, limes and grapefruits.

Apparently, it took about 20 years before the first salad fruit tree was developed, but once farmers James and Kerry West perfected the technique, the business really took off.

Feel free to visit their website and learn more about these trees here.
