It's been a while since the Posh Spice has prayed for a little baby girl and, now, it seems that the carbohydrates-based diet has finally worked out. David Beckham was spotted by Spanish reporters in Madrid and questioned on whether the couple is expecting another child or not.

The answer was surprising enough for everyone: 'Si', meaning (obviously) yes, she is. An official announcement is expected from camp Beckham later on today but, if the confirmation came from none other than Victoria's husband, then it must be true.

For months, Victoria and David have been desperately trying to conceive and have even taken to drastically changing Posh's eating habits (sushi and steamed vegetables, meant to keep her slim figure). It was David who convinced her that otherwise she would not be able to carry a future pregnancy to term.

So, she started eating more healthy products to ensure that she gain the ideal weight to support a pregnancy. And it proved to be the perfect solution. A few weeks ago, a friend of the golden couple said: 'She and David are happier than ever at the moment [and] she is desperate to conceive. After having three sons, who they love dearly, both of them would absolutely love a little girl to dote on'.

Girl or boy, one thing's for sure: Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz will meet their brand new sibling soon. Keep you posted.
