14 DAY TRIAL // Horror game fans will have the chance to take a look at the second trailer for the first-person survival horror simulator entitled “The Forest.” The game is currently in development for PC and Oculus Rift.
Future gamers will have the chance to enter “a living, breathing forest with changing weather patterns, plants that grow and die. Tides that roll in and out with the day/night cycle. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes.”
They will be able to chop down trees, build their camp and start a fire in order to get warm. By day, players will be able to explore the surroundings and build themselves a shelter, while at night, they need to stay alert and defend their base.
This particular trailer shows life in the forest just a few days after the initial plane crash. Also, players will be able to take a look at the genetic mutant enemies that will constantly try to kill them.
Moreover, it brings some disturbing gameplay moments that will surely enchant horror fans while giving newcomers a good scare.
