Since Spring is finally here, there's all the more reason for mobile phone manufacturers to get inspired from this and release
phones with flowery patterns and colorful cases. Mobile phone manufacturer Benq has also adapted to this and is releasing its A53 clamshell in Taiwan, a mobile phone that will be available in three color versions, Black, Blue and Pink (featuring pink blossoms on the front of the case).
It comes with both an internal 2-inch screen with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution and a 120 x 160 pixel 1.3 inch external one, that will let users know when they have an incoming call or text message.
The
Benq Siemens A53 also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, MicroSD card slot for memory expansion, media player with support for several file formats including MP3 and a miniUSB connector. Since most mobile phone users are mainly interested in the design of a phone and expect several mid-range features, manufacturers such as Benq are providing such stylish mid-class phones to suit those users' needs.
Aside from looking quite nice, the A53 is also very pocket-friendly, measuring around 80 x 42 x 14.8 mm (while some other sources claiming that it's even thinner than that, at 13mm). On a full charge it will provide up to 200 hours on standby or 200 minutes worth of talk time. While it's clear that the
Benq Siemens A53 will be mainly released in Taiwan, there is currently no information on who's offering one or for how much. Also, nothing points to this handset ever being released in other areas anytime soon.
