It uses USB 3.0 technology and has a physical write switch protection

Flash drives don't usually have a physical switch that can prevent data from being written on it, but the newest one from Kanguru does.

The flash drive is called Kanguru FlashBlu30 and has the Physical Write Protect Switch on the side, near the USB port itself.

You might ask why it would be so important to have such an element. The simple explanation is that it prevents files already on the drive from being accidentally overwritten, or work-relevant data from being inadvertently lost.

That's just one of its assets though, and not even the most relevant. More important is the USB 3.0 technology, which allows files to be read at 145 MB/s and written at 45 MB/s.

Needless to say, USB 2.0 is supported as well, but performance will be limited to 480 Mbps in that case.

As for capacity, Kanguru chose to cover a pretty broad range, from 8 GB to 128 GB. That means there should be at least five on sale: 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

Sadly, while I do know all the essentials, from the shape and color to the technical prowess, the price continues to elude me. It seems like Kanguru wants to be mysterious for a while more.
