As announced yesterday, a first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated, long overdue sequel “The Wolverine” is here. Check it out in full below.

You may recognize several scenes from it from the 6-second teaser that premiered yesterday on Vine on Twitter, but this teaser also offers something new: the implication that Logan could somehow become human again.

I’ll say no more, just make sure you watch the trailer.

Wolverine (played by the ever charming and ever ripped Hugh Jackman) will travel all the way to Japan to find an answer to the questions that have been plaguing him since he was turned into the indestructible X-Man he is today.

In his quest, he might stumble across even more questions than he bargained for.

“Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before,” a synopsis of the film says.

“The Wolverine” is out in July this year. Keep an eye on this space for more.
