Like common sense would dictate, you can’t cool a dual GPU car with a simple fan

Once Nvidia’s teaser appeared on the company’s Facebook page, a lot of speculation took over the internet about the new card.

Trying to profit from the lack of information, or maybe in an attempt to compensate for this year’s lesser number of April Fools Day jokes, some guys decided to fake a picture of a standard GTX 680.

By now, we all know that there is less than four days until Nvidia’s surprise is unveiled, and the teaser will be replaced by a real picture of the new product.

The GTX 690 is expected to pack two Nvidia GK 104 GPUs and will come with a very high power consumption.

The cooling system must be an advanced one, but the board will likely be cooler than older Nvidia dual GPU solutions, as GK 104 proved to be a very efficient GPU.
