New titles have been made available by Microsoft for the Xbox 360's Games on Demand service. The venerable Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Battlestations: Midway and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat can be downloaded for a price on Microsoft's home console. Modern Warfare is priced at 39.99 dollars, Battlestations: Midway at 19.99 dollars and Battlefield 2 costs 19.99 dollars.

Infinity Ward 's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the game that changed the way online multiplayer was conceived for first-person shooters, by adding an experience and rewards system. Add an epic single-player campaign that put players in a variety of locations and situations and you get one of the best selling games of this generation. It is available only in the Xbox Live regions except Japan and the United Kingdom in English.

Battlestations: Midway was developed by Eidos Hungary and published by Eidos Interactive. It tries to recreate in an approachable way the battles that occurred during the Second World War in the Pacific Ocean between the United States and the Japanese Empire. Mixing strategy and action, this title gives players the chance to engage the enemy by sea, by air and even underwater. The game is available in all regions except India and Japan in English, French, German, and Italian.

Electronic Arts DICE's Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is the first appearance of the critically acclaimed Battlefield series on consoles. This particular iteration features a single-player campaign that revolves around a fictional war between NATO and China. However, the main star of the game is the multiplayer component that offers two modes, Conquest and Capture the Flag, the ability to fully control more than 30 vehicles and supports up to 24 players in total fighting on a map. This title is available in Australia, Europe and New Zealand.
