The Chinese from HKPEC.com are the happy owners of a Pentium 4 test processor, built on 65 nanometer technology.

According to the Intel's roadmap, CedarMill (the processor's code name) is scheduled for the first quarter of 2006, and it will be based on the same NetBurst technology.

CedarMill will make the connection between Prescott and Conroe and it will be the foundation of the Pentium 4 6x3 processors; the spearhead of the series will be the 3.8 Ghz Pentium 4 673. CedarMill will have a power consumption of 65 watts, unlike the 115 watts of the Prescott and it's the single core version of the Presler processors, also known as Pentium D 900.

The model presented by HKPEC.com is called Pentium 4 643, it incoporates Vanderpool technology and has a speed of 3.2 GHz.

In order to be able to compare, in the left-side part of the image, you have a 90nm technology Prescott.
