The FRP-4300 iPod docking solution keeps your ears warm

You probably heard of the Memphis grill, you know, the one that comes with a built-in MP3 player. Well here's another spooky combination: a fireplace as a docking solution. Ok, jukeboxes could pass as iPod dockers, but fireplaces? Something is not right, come on.

The new Cal Spas FRP-4300 Fireplace is truly one of a kind in the land where fireplaces and dockers don't actually meet. Sitting on the couch next to your fireplace and also listening to your favorite tunes is pure bliss, especially if you happen to own a beautifully designed fireplace like this one. The "FRP" comes in two different sections that can be installed at once. You can build the fireplace in 2 phases by starting out with the FRP-4300A base unit and later adding the top fire archway named FRP-4300 B. And here's the interesting part: the archway has a built-in iPod station that boasts 4 inch x 9 inch speakers. And you'll also get a remote for the iPod. There's no word about any remote that could help you start the fire though.

The FRP-4300A has a rectangular shape with a flat mantel top, making it easy to serve as a support for decorations like Easter eggs or flowers. The FRP-4300 forms a graceful archway landing a beautiful aesthetic design. Customize your 4300 by selecting one of 11 stucco colors.

The FiRePlace (err, FRP) comes with a 1-year warranty. Fire logs (Lava Rocks) and the ventilation system are standard features (unlike the iPod unfortunately). There is no word about the price yet but you could buy it online from here.
