Sony of Japan president Hiroshi Kawano has revealed that not even he has seen the final design of the recently announced PlayStation 4, so fans shouldn't worry about not admiring the actual console just yet.

Sony announced the PlayStation 4 last week but, despite revealing plenty of games for it and some of its features, not to mention the actual controller and the PS4 Eye, it didn't present the next-generation home console.

Now, Sony of Japan president Hiroshi Kawano has confirmed that not even he has seen the final design of the actual console just yet.

"If I’m being honest, I also haven’t seen its final design. Even the controller we showed today, I saw the final design around yesterday or so. I’ve seen numerous prototypes from when it was still codenamed Jedai, and I heard that an onboard touch pad was in the final specs," he told 4Gamer.

Sony is expected to present the final design of the PlayStation 4 at E3 2013 this June.
