After disclosing the information that Microsoft will introduce 7 Windows Vista versions, Paul Thurott has also announced some of the features which will be available in these versions.

Thurott says that, according to the documentation sheets, the Starter and Home Basic versions won't include the AeroGlass interface, but one which is similar to Windows XP's. Other graphics features, such as tab previews or taskbar preview, will be excluded as well, because they would require too many resources.

The new version of Microsoft Windows Web Server will only be included in the business type versions, which will also include unique features, such as the Windows Fax.

When it comes to digital technologies, only the Home Premium editions and the business type ones will include components, such as DVD authoring, Movie Maker HD and a image editing feature, and games, like 3D Chess and Shanghai Solitaire.

The good new is that all versions will benefit from the new version of Windows Media Player.
