If you’re a fan of young-adult fiction that doesn’t necessarily involve fighting against the corrupt system and trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, you’re probably familiar already with John Green’s best-selling novel “The Fault in Our Stars.”

It has been made into a movie (which, obviously, bears the same title) and it’s coming out in June this year. Since that’s only a couple of months away, a new extended trailer for it has been released, promising an emotional ride like few others before it.

“The Fault in Our Stars” tells the story of a teen girl who has been diagnosed with cancer. Just when she becomes resigned to the idea that life is just passing her by, she meets a boy she falls in love with and, the trailer indicates, he will be showing her that it’s never too late to start living (and loving), no matter your circumstances.

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort play leads and, from what I can infer from the trailer, they have enough chemistry to play the passionate yet very sweet romantic relationship between Hazel and Augustus.

“The Fault in Our Stars” is directed by Josh Boone and will open in theaters in most territories on June 22, 2014.
