The Fast and the Furious is a video game that was developed by Eutechnyx Limited and was published by Namco Bandai Games America Inc.
The game was launched on the PlayStation 2 home gaming console from Sony and later it also received a stripped-down version for the PlayStation Portable handheld.
It was released in September 2006.
The game can be classed as laying in the racing and driving genre, based on an intellectual property that was first developed as part of a series of movies.
The game was not too well received when it was launched, getting an average score of about 7 out of 10, with the lowest score coming in at 4.5.

Recommended cars
Start with either Integra and keep going with it. It is by far the fastest beginner car. Make sure to put in the piggyback ECU module first. Transmission stage 3 is mandatory. With that you can reach 199 mph on nitrous or 182 without it.
The '99 Silvia S15 spec-R Aero drives over 195 mph. You can win it from a Boss. It prevents you from buying another car for Toshi's hot spot. Use this car to win with ease.
The fastest car is the Lexus LFA-concept. It can reach up to 260 mph without nitrous and 274 with nitrous.
Boss's car
When you have defeated all the members of a crew, you are left with the crew's Boss. After defeating the Boss, you will be awarded with his or her car and a new performance upgrade. Tuning limitations
Special versions of cars cannot be tuned, such as the Nismo Skyline, or any other car that was a specially tuned version from the manufacturer. Also cars that are won from defeating Bosses cannot be tuned.
