The Fast and the Furious is a video game that is based on the movie series with the same name which has so far spawned five movies that focus on very fast cars and very spectacular driving stunts.
Development work on the game was done by Eutechnyx Limited publishing was handled by Namco Bandai Games America Inc.
The release came in September 2006, but unfortunately the reviewers did not give the game might marks, with the majority saying it was a pretty mediocre racing game.
The entire game takes place on the streets of Tokyo at night, which creates some pretty treacherous driving conditions.
GAMEPLAY HINTS
Defeating D.K.
When you go against D.K. in the final drift battle on Suicide Mountain, use the Brake Drift on the entire track. This is the easiest way to complete the track.
Easy Drift Battles
This does not include the grip/drift battles. Do power-overs (donuts) in one location and rack up the points. Make sure you have enough room to do the donuts or you will keep hitting rails. Use your Clutch (L1) + Gas (X), and when in the donut keep them both, with your direction held to either the left or the right. Try using the '67 Mustang Fastback. To be able to buy the car, you must complete and win a few roll-up races. The following are recommended set-up specs for the '67 Mustang Fastback.
