I-play has always been responsible for publishing great mobile phone games. Due to the fact that it works with a wide range of content partners and sales channels, I-Play can easily bring mobile gaming to a growing global audience.

One of the most popular Racing/Driving games, The Fast and The Furious : Tokyo, developed and published by I-Play through an agreement with Universal Mobile Entertainment, has recorded over a million downloads throughout no more than five months. Recently, I-Play has also announced that the game has been short-listed for the 'Best Made for Mobile Game' category in the GSM Association's Global Mobile Awards 2007.

This would not be the first time that the mobile phone game was praised. It was also awarded "Best Racing/Driving Game" of the year by IGN Wireless late last year and it has been many times described as being a top quality and highly enjoyable driving game.

David Gosen, CEO, I-play commented: "We're very proud of our Fast and Furious franchise and to be short-listed for a 3GSM Global Mobile award is great news for our development team who worked incredibly hard to create such an innovative game around the popular 'drifting' phenomenon. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo was the biggest game launch in I-play's history and is unmatched by any other racing game on the mobile platform."

It also features superb graphics including smoke effects, skid markers and interactive Japanese environments and a unique drifting mechanism with intuitive control.

To find out whether the game will win the award, you'll have to wait until the 13th of February, when the winners will be announced at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.
