There is still a lot of secrecy surrounding the “Fantastic Four” reboot, but there some details coming to light that will get fans excited about the new project that promises to take the franchise into a whole new different direction than the previous movies.

In an interview with DenofGeek, writer and producer for the new movie Simon Kinberg spills some details and calls the project a “coming of age story.”

He promises that “We’re definitely telling a younger story that the original films did. It depends on what books you look at. There are some, like the Ultimate books, that tell this story. So it is an origin story of the Fantastic Four, and it does follow them before they really know what a superhero is.”

Just to get the record straight, he explains what he's referring to when he says the Fantastic Four will be younger, “They’re older than high school, but they’re not quite grown into the world. If anything, this is a coming of age story.”

So, there's something to think about while the movie begins shooting in Louisiana in about two weeks' time. The movie is due out in theaters across the US on June 19, 2015.
