There have been lots of rumors surrounding the Facebook Phone, but all this ranting will be put to rest tomorrow when the company claims that it will reveal its new “Facebook Home.”

Although we originally thought that Facebook would not unveil any phones and that it would only show a new launcher for the Android platform or some kind of UI specially tailored for Google’s mobile platform, it turns out that the company will launch both.

The folks over at evleaks have just published a press render of what appears to be the long-rumored Facebook Phone. It’s no surprise that the device is manufactured by HTC, but the name of the phone seems rather weird.

According to evleaks, HTC First is the device that Facebook plans to unveil tomorrow. After the Taiwanese handset maker announced its upcoming flagship smartphone, the HTC One, it appears that Facebook chose to name its Android handset HTC First.

Obviously, this information has yet to be confirmed by Facebook, so we should take it with a pinch of salt until April 4, when everything will be revealed.

No details on the phone’s specs came with the press picture, but the latest hearsay claims that the HTC First will be equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and a decent 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

On the back, HTC First is rumored to pack a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording. There’s no word on any secondary front-facing camera yet, so we will have to wait and see.

HTC First will come with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Hopefully, it will also pack microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Last but not least, there are indications that the HTC First might be an AT&T exclusive, though we can’t really say for sure. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
