Ubisoft has just released the first trailer for its upcoming The Expendables 2: The Video Game, which will be released this August on platforms like the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 alongside the actual movie on which it’s based. The Expendables 2 is set to hit movie theaters from all over the world this August and, like any self-respecting movie, it’s getting a video game adaptation, in the form of the aptly-titled The Expendables 2: The Video Game.
Fortunately, for those who are tired of shoddy game tie-ins, the game seems rather fun, at least judging by the first gameplay trailer that’s just been released by Ubisoft, showing off some hectic shooter action from an isometric point of view.
The game features a four-player cooperative mode that sees players take on the roles of four Expendables, in the form of Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), and Yin Yang (Jet Li).
The Expendables 2: The Video Game is out on the PlayStation Network on August 1, and for the PC and Xbox 360 on August 17.
