The last call to a shot to fame saw two ex-spouses who got almost nothing to show for, Britney Spears' Jason Alexander (to whom she was married for about 55 hours) and Shar Jackson (with whom Kevin Federline has two children but never bothered to wed) reunite on a bench for an exclusive interview with 'Splash' news agency.
True, both prepared their re-entrance into the spotlight with previous discussions with various media outlets, in which they stood up for their respective former 'soul mates' and bemoaned the failed relationship. Jackson said that K-Fed is basically a 'nice guy' who was just unlucky enough to fall right into the media's big mouth, while Alexander said that Britney is an 'awesome person' who had the misfortune of marrying an 'idiot'.
'Splash' managed to get the two together and to ask them about their opinion on the Spears-Federline train wreck. It also came out that they are friends for more than a year, having met at a fashion show and connecting with each other almost on the spot. However, they strongly denied anything else other than a platonic bond.
'We were contemplating going to Vegas', Jason jokingly said when he was asked by the nature of his relationship with Shar. And she immediately interrupted him: '... and going to the same little white chapel that you went to!', referring to the Vegas chapel where he and Britney tied the knot a long time ago.
All in all, the interview revealed nothing new and many already say that they jumped at the occasion of doing it so as to prolong their fifteen seconds of fame a bit more. And that may be just the case but if you're interested in what Alexander and Jackson had to say about Britney and Kevin, just
