The development team at Tango Gameworks and publisher Bethesda are launching a new trailer for The Evil Within, called Fight for Life, which is designed to show off some of the features included in the survival horror experience.

The footage features a look at the Haunted enemies that gamers will have to deal with as they explore the various locations and the traps that they will have to be on the lookout for in order to avoid dying before they can reach their goals.

There are also more details about the crossbow that the player character can use and how a range of ammunition for it can be created using the sparse resources of the surrounding world.

The Evil Within will be launched on October 14 all over the world and can be played on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, the PC, and last-gen consoles.

Shinji Mikami, the leader of the team working on it, says that it plans to take gamers back to the roots of the survival horror genre, delivering some impressive scares while also challenging them to deal with some complex situations.

The Evil Within's Sebastian Castellanos will have to explore a world that's moving between reality and fantasy and battle a variety of creatures in order to defeat an evil presence.
