The times when an average mouse could be used by both right- and left-handed are long since history. The design improvements the common mouse has undergone changed its face and grip forever. The market is saturated with ergonomic, right-handed-optimized mice that makes it impossible for the left-handed to successfully use them.

The Ergo-Shark mouse comes to fill a niche, as long as lefties can be considered as belonging to one. Starting from the idea that lefties are as important as the right-handed users, the Ergo-Shark perfectly fits the needs of the former.

"The attacks of the Ergo-Sharks Wireless are targeted towards all types of desk surface, but the models are particularly tame towards humans. While the ergonomics of the Ergo-Shark L Wireless Laser mouse is specially designed to suit the needs of left-handed users, its sister model the Ergo-Shark R Wireless Laser mouse fits particularly well in the right hand," said a Cherry representative.

The Ego-Shark is a wireless mouse that comes with seven buttons and a four-way scrolling function while using browsers or other documents. The mouse can be used in a range of 10 meters around the computer, although it's nearly impossible even for a hawk-eyed user to distinguish the reading on the desktop at this distance. The Teflon stands allows the mouse to slide smoothly and accurately on almost any surface. Batteries are not a problem, since the mouse charges directly through a bundled USB cable.

"The ergonomic design makes hours of continuous use in the workplace more pleasant and helps ensure that no painful reminders are left over from long gambling evenings. Unpleasant experiences during heated gaming rounds or in the final stages of creating a presentation can no longer be blamed on the mouse. The ERGO-SHARKS can now be charged during use with no inconvenient interruptions via a USB-cable. The illuminating scroll-wheel alerts concentrated users in good time to the fact that the energy dispenser is required."

Lefties can buy the device for a little under $70, which is quite expensive for a product of its kind.
