Well, now that we've finally lived to this moment, I can say that I could very possibly die happy. I mean, I've lived to see just about everything I could possibly wished for in this lifetime. This world's top fashionista, the woman who believes herself the most impressive and beautiful creature us mortals ever had the fortune to meet (I'm talking here about the walking skeleton-wannabe that is Victoria Beckham) seems to have hung her trademark over-sized boobs. It's so much of a shock that I can't even write properly - I think I need to sit down and take a breath of fresh air or something.

Well, you might think I'm over-reacting or something, but I feel like I have just seen Michael Jackson walk through the door, back in his black skin and matching hairdo. It's a historical moment - and I really am shocked that the woman who denied having had cosmetic surgery to her breasts right until some legal court documents were released two years ago, proving she had in fact had a boob job, would really be ready to give it up so easily. But money, it would seem, is a very powerful motivator. As if we didn't already know that...
"There is speculation she had her implants taken out for the tour so she can fit into the costumes without the risk of
them falling out during some of the more energetic routines" says a source. That would make sense, I guess - up to a point. But really, if Posh is really willing to give up her enhanced boobs for fear of a wardrobe malfunction, this must mean that the sight of her bare breasts would not be one for sore eyes. And really, I think that seeing Victoria topless, or seeing her twins hanging out of a very posh outfit would certainly not be my ideal Christmas present.
And so ends an era. I personally feel that if the rumors are true - and a look at some of these shots suggests that they are - I must tell you I feel a great sense of personal loss. I used to have such a great time writing about Victoria's boobs. They were always there, always reliably defiant, always looking like they were cemented and rock-hard. They were part of her alien look. Where will this world go now? I have no sense of purpose left. It's a sad day for us all, really. Pity.
