14 DAY TRIAL // It’s been a tough year for daytime shows and, by the looks of things, it isn’t about to get any better soon. However, The Ellen DeGeneres Show is thriving so it just got renewed through to 2017.
More good news: The Ellen Show was renewed at all NBC owned stations, The Hollywood Reporter notes.
“The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been renewed through the 2016-17 season in 96 percent of the country. The renewal includes all ten NBC owned and operated stations and 179 additional stations,” THR says.
If confirmation of how popular Ellen is was needed, this is it.
“Ellen is quite simply the best,” Ken Werner, president, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, says for the same industry publication.
I’m sure all of Ellen’s fans agree: she is, indeed, the best and most fun.
