Toshiba Corporation announced the release of TS32, a slim candy bar style tri-band phone for SmarTone Vodafone Hong Kong. Although TS32's features aren't mind-blowing, it still manages to be an interesting handheld, equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom, Bluetooth 1.2 for connectivity with several profiles available and a 1.9 inch 260k color TFT with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.

It doesn't weigh much, only 79grams, and it fits easily in your pocket by measuring 47 x 113 x 10.3 mm. With Mp3, AAC/AAC+ and Mpeg 4 support and a built-in FM Radio, the handheld can do pretty good when it comes to music playing, and has a MicroSD card slot that enables the user to store up to 1GB of music or photos on a MicroSD card, because the internal memory of 5.5 MB will surely not be large enough even for storing photos.

Actually, judging only by the looks of it, at first sight, the TS32 appears to be a more feature-packed high-tech phone, mostly because of its sleek and serious design, but it seems that Toshiba TS32 is more of an entry-level phone, at least for the Asian market, if you stop to consider the features it has to offer.

They say it lasts around 150 minutes in talk time and approximately 150 hours in standby mode, depending on how much you use it, of course.

The Toshiba TS32 is distributed by Smart-Tone Vodafone and its dealer channels in Hong Kong and Macau, and there is no information on the price so far, but it will most likely be affordable.
