The developers working on The Elder Scrolls Online at ZeniMax Online are saying that one of the aspects of Bosmer culture that will be included in the upcoming The Elder Scrolls Online is cannibalism. The team says during a
Q&A session that, “For the Wood Elves, cannibalism is a matter of ritual significance, and typically quite private within a family or tight-knit group. There’s actually a lot of background on Valenwood and the Bosmer in Elder Scrolls lore, though you may have to dig a little to find it.”
It’s not clear whether this means that Bosmer players will be actually able to engage in such rituals or that they will only be mentioned by NPCs in the MMO.
The Elder Scrolls Online is set to launch in 2013 exclusively on the PC.
