Video game developer Zenimax Online and publisher Bethesda have announced that their The Elder Scrolls Online MMO will be launched on the next-gen PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft in the spring 2014.

During the Sony E3 2013 press conference, the team announced that a beta version of the game would be delivered on the company's device, although no date was mentioned.

The official description of The Elder Scrolls Online states, “Three powerful alliances struggle for control of war-torn Tamriel as the Daedric Prince Molag Bal schemes to destroy it entirely.”

Gamers will be able to join one of nine races on launch in order to fight their enemy alliances and battle the AI controlled armies of Molag Bal.

The new E3 2013 trailer for the MMO shows little new information about the game experience.
