The development team at ZeniMax Online and publisher Bethesda are announcing that they are delivering a special reward to all those who have stuck with The Elder Scrolls Online since it was launched and have subscribed for three months to the MMO.

The company states, “Since launch, we’ve loved sharing the adventure of ESO with you as you explore ever-growing Tamriel. There’s so much more on the horizon, but we think it’s important to give some special recognition to those of you who have already been there every step of the way.”

All accounts that have paid for three months, excluding the time that was included in the official retail package for The Elder Scrolls Online and other such offers, will be able to get access to a High Hrothgar Wraith vanity pet.

The companion does not have any actual in-game use but will show other players the dedication of the character that has access to it.

ZeniMax Online says that another reward, with more of an impact on the player’s experience, will be offered to those who have subscribed for six months and that an official reveal will be made in the coming weeks.

The official announcement for the High Hrothgar Wraith pet adds, “If you haven’t kept your subscription active, don’t worry. You’ll still be able to get the pets and other upcoming rewards once you meet the requirements. Stick with us, and you’ll have quite the collection to show off before long.”

Some gamers have been disappointed that the company is not offering the reward to those who have a total playing time of three months, mainly because they use a payment service that does allow them to pay The Elder Scrolls Online subscription as soon as it expires.

At the moment, the development team is working on the fourth full patch for the MMO, which is designed to introduce a new Upper Craglorn area to explore, the Dragonstar Arena, and a variety of changes and tweaks to all classes.

The new content is offered to all those who are active on the Player Test Realms and feedback is welcomed.

ZeniMax Online also says that it is planning to introduce more anti-cheating measures for The Elder Scrolls Online and that it will continue to be on the lookout and make sure that bans are issued to all those who are trying to use exploits to gain extra power in the MMO.
