When we think of models and their lives, we can't help ourselves from saying that this would be the perfect life we would also like to lead: oh, the glamour, the money, the things we can buy, the pampering! But beyond this glamorous exterior lies a very disturbing truth: it is NOT easy to be a model. As a matter of fact, judging by everything that happened lately, it seems to be the hardest profession of them all!
I mean, who could walk in their shoes? You are either born with supermodel/glamour model genes and make it big or you don't make it at all. Plus, it takes a lot of talent and drive to get at the top and remain there. It is a hard job and not many are those who can actually carry it on. Yeah, right!...
All joking aside, one of the most popular models, Caprice Bourret is currently admitted at The Priory Clinic in London (where junkie Pete Doherty of The Babyshambles also attempted to shake off his addiction) and rumor has it that her condition is more severe than it was initially reported.

Caprice shot to fame once she became the face of Wanderbra in the UK (wouldn't it have been more correct to say 'the breasts of Wanderbra'?) but, since she ended her contract, she has seen her career put in a corner of shade. The professional plunge and the fact that her age (35) was beginning to show have taken their toll on the glamour girl and she slowly slipped into depression and addiction.
The fallout culminated last year, with a drunk-driving arrest. Caprice was caught driving while heavily intoxicated and reluctant to cooperate with the police officer. When he asked her name she said just 'Caprice' (at one time, she ditched her second name because she had become a brand), at which the baffled officer responded 'Caprice WHO?'. Later, she tried to argue in court that the alcohol test had been distorted by the medicine she was taking for cystitis but the judge found no evidence to substantiate the claim.
Caprice's friends have already spoken to the media and explained how the rehab visit is mainly due to their insistences to seek help. 'Caprice has had a tough time. She has been feeling very low. Her career has stalled and she's not getting any younger. Her friends were getting increasingly concerned about her health and she was urged to seek help. That's how she ended up in The Priory.', 'The Sun' writes, citing an unnamed source. Meanwhile, a spy at the clinic claims the model was brought in after she had overdosed on an unknown drug but that her condition is stable now. Either way, she was put by the staff on a suicide watch.
A spokesperson for Caprice refused to answer calls seeking comment.
