Ubisoft has rolled out another impressive video with The Division, its upcoming open world online role-playing game, this time featuring one of its developers, who talks a bit about some of the new elements portrayed in the two different trailers released at E3 2014 last month.

The Division impressed millions of gamers back in 2013 when it was first revealed to the world as an ambitious and stunning-looking multiplayer role-playing game.

Set in the Tom Clancy universe, the title promised to deliver intense online action but with plenty of great gameplay moments and lots of third-person shooter encounters.

At E3 2014 last month, Ubisoft brought not one, but two different videos to hype up The Division. The first was a CGI trailer that showcased the struggle of a regular family in the virus-infested New York City, not to mention the possible enemies for players, who take on the role of government agents tasked with containing the civil unrest.

The second video showcased actual gameplay and saw players work together to unlock a new home base right in the middle of Manhattan.

Now, a special interview from E3 2014 has just been posted by Ubisoft on YouTube, in which The Division Game Director Ryan Barnard goes a bit in-depth about the new things showcased at the large event.

First up, he talks about the Cleaners, a new enemy faction that wants to purge the virus from New York by any means necessary.

"The Cleaners are kind of a roaming group of very, very dangerous gentlemen. They're attracted to areas with high virus levels and they're extremely aggressive to anyone who they perceive as sick. They've lost it mentally and anyone that could potentially be sick, or is sick, or dead bodies, they burn with their flamethrowers. They're also really dangerous in the game so you don't want to take them on by yourself."

Barnard also emphasizes the lack of classes in The Division, saying that players can choose where to invest their skill points depending on what things they enjoy doing during the actual gameplay.

"We like to call ourselves a class-less RPG. We don't want to front load our players with a choice right before they start the game. They don't know how the game works or how they might like to play. We'd rather have you discover how you like to play, what skills you like, and make choices for yourself."

The Division is set to debut in 2015 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Check out the new video from Ubisoft below.
