Gary Steinman, a communications manager working at Ubisoft, confirms that the upcoming The Division video game is also coming to the PC after it was initially announced as being launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft.

Fredrik Rundqvist, an executive producer working on the title, states, “The positive energy you bring back to the team will help us create the best game possible. One of the most frequently discussed topics has been that of releasing The Division on PC.”

Developer Massive Entertainment will use its experience on titles like World in Conflict and Ground Control to make sure that the PC version of The Division is equal in quality with that on next-gen consoles.

The team says that feedback from the community has been one of the most important factors in the newly announced decision.

The team is also launching a new trailer for the game, which reveals its second screen experience.
