The Default Wallpaper of Ubuntu 12.10

It will be available to testers on the Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 release!

The Ubuntu development team uploaded earlier today a new default wallpaper for the upcoming Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) operating system.

While most of us were happy to test the first Beta release of Ubuntu 12.10, enjoying the new wallpapers, and discovering new features, the Ubuntu developers are hard at work replacing the default wallpaper in Quantal with a slightly different one.

You can click it above to get the full image, in case you want to see how it looks on your desktop right now, before the final release of Ubuntu 12.10, which is expected on October 18th, 2012.

To be honest, we don't like the new wallpaper at all. We prefer to add our own backgrounds or stick with VladStudio's Little Quetzal one.
