Silent Hill is a walk in the park compared to what you're about to see

Jackie Estacado, a mafia hitman for the Franchetti crime family, is the main figure of the terrifying game. He discovers that on his 21st birthday, the powers of darkness are his to use. With his new powers, Jackie is able to wreak terrifying havoc on his enemies. He must learn to fully command the Darkness so he can take back control of the Franchetti family, which is ruled by his uncle Paulie, a despicable man who nobody wants alive anymore.

Based on the comic book The Darkness, created by Top Cow, the game story was written in collaboration with acclaimed comic-book author, Paul Jenkins. The game developed by StarBreeze on the other hand is so bloody that its trailer shouldn't be watched by those with weak hearts, not to mention playing it. It is an upcoming PS3 and Xbox 360 title which makes a tremendously good use of the graphics cards both consoles have. The gameplay is that of a regular first-person-shooter and the camera control and angles are great, especially when the player moves from the creature's perspective.

No words can describe what the trailer of the game shows. Some of Jackies powers allow you, the player, to devour, impale or implode your enemies and you'll see just what that means when watching the trailer. I mean, the guy literally rips enemies apart and cracks them open. The game makers even went as far as giving the character the ability to use an electric drill in order to crack open someone's head. His companions, the creatures that live on his body have a terrible appetite for what Jackie shoots with his guns cannibalizing their corpses and transforming them into Darklings.

I think I've said enough to convince you that if you're easily scared, or don't have the proper age, you really shouldn't watch the trailer.
