Right after launching the wacky yet quite impressive Quad-Wielding mechanic from The Darkness II, developer Digital Extremes and publisher 2K Games have presented the special pre-order incentive for the game.
From now until the game is released, anyone who pre-orders The Darkness II will see their copy upgraded to the Limited Edition, which includes things like an Alternate darkling outfit called "Crazy Abdul" as well as two new character abilities, including Gourmet Hearts, which gives you a bonus for eating hearts, and Relic Hunter, which locates collectibles in the world.
A custom illustration by Marc Silvestri, the artist behind the original Darkness comic books, plus a free digital download of The Darkness Origins Volume 1 and 2 comics are also included in this limited edition.
The Darkness 2 aims at delivering a much more over-the-top experience than the original, and is scheduled to appear for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 7, in North America, and February 10, 2012, in Europe.
