The Dairy Industry Mutilates Cows, Cassey Affleck States – Video

One previous video released by green-oriented organization PETA showed how the meat industry needed to be held responsible for countless acts of animal cruelty.

Now, this group teamed up with actor Cassey Affleck in an attempt to prove that eating dairy products is almost as bad as eating meat, seeing how hundreds of cows get mutilated on a daily basis by animal farm workers who are in charge of dehorning them.

Although the people who support this practice consider that dehorning is necessary in order to make sure the cows do not harm each other, or even end up injuring the people who come in close contact with them, animal right activists maintain that this is plain cruelty.

As Cassey Affleck explains, dehorning causes the animals to experience severe pain and distress, which is why people need to show they do not approve of it by giving up on dairy.
